Jennifer Lopez visits hospital

Jennifer Lopez has visited a children's hospital ahead of her world tour.


The songstress will begin dates for her Dance Again series of shows on Thursday, but made sure she fulfilled some charity work obligations beforehand.


Jennifer visited a children's hospital in Panama City yesterday ' ahead of her first performance in the region.


The 42-year-old mother-of-two was guided around the hospital, with her younger sister Lynda in tow. She was seen talking to staff and doctors at a ceremony held afterwards, where she "donated medical equipment to the centre as part of her Lopez Family Foundation's on going charity work," according to British newspaper The Daily Mail.


Jennifer gave a speech at the event and was photographed with Panamanian health minister Franklin Vergara, First Lady Marta Martinelli and Alberto Visto.


Despite her humble efforts, Jennifer showed off her signature glamorous style. The beauty teamed a long-sleeved snakeskin shirt with high-waisted white trousers.


Jennifer's Dance Again tour will see her travel across South America after kicking off on Thursday. She will then head to Canada and the US.


The stunning star will complete the shows in Europe in November.
